  • Playoff Champion
  • Shield Winner
  • Playoff Runner-up
  • Regular Season Position

Set each rule's rank (1 = highest priority, applied first). Tip: set "Regular Season Position" to rank 1 to ignore playoff results entirely for promotion decisions.

League One

Interconference game counts are calculated automatically each season (based on a 38-game cap and current conference sizes). League One also always keeps an even total club count — if a season's expansion draw would create an odd number, the extra club's entry is held back one year (see the "held back" note under League One's results when this happens).

  • Playoff Champion
  • Shield Winner
  • Other Conference Winner
  • Playoff Runner-up
  • Regular Season Position

Set each rule's rank (1 = highest priority, applied first). "Other Conference Winner" is the top club of whichever conference did NOT produce the Shield Winner. Tip: set "Regular Season Position" to rank 1 to ignore playoff results entirely for promotion decisions.
